This year we packed up the van with the 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 1 Grandma and headed down to Manti to spend the holiday with Garrett's family. Saturday morning I got up and ran in the Freedom Festival 5K. Riley got up and came to cheer me on.:) 
Then we went down to the park for the town pancake breakfast.
Next we spent a few hours at the park for the carnival. There were all sorts of booths and fun activities for the kids. 
Pony rides:
A highlight of the day was when our cousin Kelsie was put in the dunking booth because she was "Miss Liberty" royalty this year. Cole made sure he was first in line to knock her down and Riley knocked her down too. 
Next we were off to beat the heat at the swimming pool. 
After a delicious BBQ at Garrett's sister's house, we watched the fireworks go off right above the Manti temple. Mallory was sound asleep but Macy sure loved watching her first fireworks. 
What a great trip and fun weekend with family!
