Our Trip to California

We had an absolutely fabulous time in California. We spent eight days doing nothing but having fun. It was a really great bonding and memory making time for our family. Sunday through Wednesday we spent at Disneyland. Thursday we had a great day at Legoland. Friday we spent the afternoon at Newport Beach. Then Saturday we were back at Disneyland for Wendy's birthday before flying home late that night. Some of our absolute favorite moments of the trip:
*On our first day at Disneyland we went straight to Riley's dream destination: Star Wars Training Academy. Riley and Mallory were both picked out of the crowd to be in the show. They were dressed in Jedi robes, given light sabers, and then trained to fight Darth Vader and Darth Maul. It was quite exciting and we can't wait to frame their certificates.
*Some of our other favorite rides: Soaring Over California, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Tours. Mallory loved the Matterhorn and Riley is very proud for having taken on the Tower of Terror.
*The beach was absolutely fantastic. We wished we could have spent more time there and definitely plan to go back when the weather is a bit warmer.
*Saturday was Wendy's 29th birthday. She was given a pin to wear that said Happy Birthday. Everyone in the park wished her a Happy Birthday throughout the day. It was definitely a birthday to remember.

5 days at Disneyland, it seriously takes that long to enjoy it all. The times we've gone for a day, it's just never enough. What a great trip for your kids. I swear we have the SAME taste in clothes for our girls. I have almost every single one of those outfits for Sky that Mallory has in the pics. It's hillarious! It looks like you guys had the time of your life. It looks like you went and went and went until Mallory crashed each day. :) How fun! I'm so glad it all went so well.
