M & M Wedding

On this day, we officially welcomed Marissa into our family. It was an amazing day, just like out of a fairy tale. Matthew and Marissa both seemed to just glow in a way that words and pictures can't do justice. Here are some pictures from their temple wedding and ceremony and dinner at La Caille. Ute Fan Fest

It was a bit hot, but we had a great time at the Utah Fan Fest on Saturday. For those of you who are Ute fans, this is a fun event and you should definitely check it out if you haven't already.

We loved getting to see our new Aunt Kimberly dance with the Crimson line. She did awesome!



Mallory even got to join in and dance with her for a bit.


And Riley got a cool autograph on his jersey from quarterback, Brian Johnson.

Meet Griffin

He's the newest member of our family. Today Dad surprised us with this little guy. He's half toy poodle and half maltese. He's adorable and super sweet.
As soon as I found out I was pregnant with Macy, I knew it would be a girl. Riley was pretty bummed at the thought of not getting a brother. As compensation, we promised him he could get a puppy. We made him wait all summer and finally today we followed through with out promise. He's pretty happy about it!

Trip to Bear Lake

We had a fabulous weekend at Bear Lake. We've been going up there every year for about five years now. This year we stayed in a condo in Harbor Village and loved every minute of it. We're already planning to go back there again next year. The weather was perfect! The kids had lots of fun building sand castles, swimming in the lake and pools at the condo, and Dad even buried them in the sand. I was a little worried about how Macy would do on the beach, but she was an angel. We had our usual pizza dinner at Lakeside pizza and then of course treated ourselves to a raspberry shake. This year we discovered breakfast at the Bear Lake Motor Lodge... yum! We wish we could have stayed longer, but we're glad we were able to squeeze it in before school starts back up. Bear Lake is one of our favorite summer memories.

Mallory turned 6!

Happy Birthday Mally Pie! We celebrated our little Mallory's birthday with a fun party at Build-a-bear and dinner at her favorite restaurant, The Old Spaghetti Factory. She was super excited to add "Kit" to her American Girl doll collection. We love you, sweetheart!

Macy's Blessing Day

Garrett blessed Macy today at our ward meeting. We feel so lucky to have had all of our family there to share it with us. She is such a little ray of sunshine in our lives and we already couldn't imagine life without her constant smiles to light up our hearts.
We recently discovered that if you put her in front of a mirror, she gets super excited and will talk to her reflection for as long as you'll let her. She loves attention and is especially happy when she has someone to "talk" to... apparently even herself.
