Riley had belt testing this morning. This was his first testing with the older kids. In this group they are held to a higher standard and have to work quite a bit harder in order to pass and move up a belt. Riley did fantastic. We were so proud of him. He got his blue belt. He just has brown then red left, before his ultimate goal of being a black belt. Way to go Riley!
Saturday our family had a great afternoon at the Red & White game at Rice Eccles Stadium. It was a little windy, but the sun was gorgeous. The kids caught some footballs from the cheerleaders and scored some autographs from a few players after the game. We are really looking forward to football season this fall. A few weeks ago we bought 4 season tickets. We are definitely Ute fans at the McCarter house! :-)
The 2008 Salt Lake City Race for the Cure will take place at the Gateway Center in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday, May 10, 2008. This is a great event to participate in. I've done it for a few years now and love it. YES, I'm racing this year. I figure if I can do it, less than 2 weeks before giving birth, you have no excuse!
